Hussain: With yesterday’s elimination, India is shocked, India is dismayed. Was Arpita Khan’s elimination fair?
Abhijeet: it was a tough choice; the audience is in a dilemma too. par kisi na kisi ko tou jaana hi hoga na? But I am sure Arpita will go places in her career… wish her good luck
Hussain: yes! The cute and the sweet Arpita…we will miss you
Abhijeet: moving on... Shreeram’s music performance of Shankar's song Breathless was spectacular!
Hussain: I totally enjoyed it overall the RD Burman special episode where every contestant sang his compositions to make it their best music feat. The veteran singer Asha Bhosle judged the contestants and was extremely awed by each contestant’s singing ability.
Abhijeet: I envy the Indian Idol 5 contestants, I mean gosh! They have the best of mentors! Could this BE any better?
Hussain: hehe! But dude you are the ‘first’ Indian Idol aur uska maza hi kuch aur hai
Abhijeet: yes woh tou have but Ashaji even compared the contestants with the gods of the music industry, Mohammed Rafi and Pancham Da! Now that’s commendable.
Hussain: bilkul!
Abhijeet: now I am eagerly waiting for the next episode- these guys are going to get some awesome tips on singing …main bhi kuch seekh loonga
Hussain: sureeeeeee!

well, arpita's elimination was not at all fair. she's a good singer and a tough competition to others. her performances including 'neeyat kharab' and 'khalbali' were just enough to drench the other contender's pants..lol :P

ReplyDeleteI very much feel that the final elimination from the bottom 3 should be done only by the judges, since they are masters in this field and can really judge them fairly.
all the episodes are great...but the only part i hate was the episode of june 28th,10 with the elimination of Shashi...it was truly obvious that Tia DOES NOT DESERVE TO STAY IN TOP 7...Shashi is wayy better than Tia from the very beginning... Bring Shashi back in Indian Idol...
ReplyDeleteI dont agree with above Tia has a beautiful voice.. just lacking in confidence...If she gets that confidence boosted she can beat even SriRam who has playback exp in Telegu Industry. I wish to participate in Indian Idol 6..
