Abhijeet: The last episode was really gripping and each moment passed like a decade..

Hussain: Rakesh’s elimination came as a shock to not only the judges but the studio audience as well- there were hoots and whistles- booing down the decision paradoxically taken by the ‘junta’ themselves.

Abhijeet: how did this happen?

Hussain : par yeh toh hona hi tha… there are times when the judges too are in a dilemma- but then we request you junta ki apne votes soch samaj kar dijiye- aapka ek vote inn contestants ki zindagi badal sakta hai..

Abhijeet: bilkul! Imagine if Anuji, Sunidhiji and Salimji would have not used their VETO power - it would have been really unfair to Rakesh Maini. I think sabne bohot sahi decision liya hai ‘sirji’ ki baat maan ke- Aamir Khan, when he last came on Indian Idol had made a special request to the judges not to let these ‘three’ talented singers get eliminated till the last and I think this was a very good decision.

Hussain: haan…I was so disheartened when I heard Rakesh’s name for the elimination..

Abhijeet: same here ;-) (teary eyed)

Hussain: hmmm... Now let’s get this talk lightened up: D

Abhijeet: Kaise?

Hussain: What if I tell that a very special guest if going to come again on @Indian Idol?

Abhijeet: really? Who?

Hussain: yes totally! I am so speechless! Aur kya hone waala hai aaj zara batao humain..

Abhijeet: Haan ji zaroor… All of us are aware of Anu Malik’s uncanny talent for creating shayari’s on the spot! Now tonight he surprises our guest Judge Raj Kumar Hirani nicknamed ‘RH+ve’ by our mischievous hosts Hussain and Abhijeet.

Hussain : Well then now folks next time someone calls you an ‘idiot’ just smile and be happy about it coz’ being an ‘idiot’ is cool!

Abhijeet: That’s not it! Abhijeet (yaane ki main) aaj raat pesh karega ek khaas performance. It’s not a singing performance. Abhijeet dons his acting hat and does a ‘Ghajini’ spoof.

Hussain: You look quite a character with the special Aamir Khan jacket from the movie itself. :-P

Abhijeet: Hmmm that’s a tough one… I feel Sreeram has an excellent playback voice quality and a great personality...

Hussain: While Swaroop just touches every chord of your heart when he gives the aalaap!

Abhijeet: Aur Bhoomi jab gaati hai toh poora stage hila deti hai! The only girl contender left this season…

Hussain: Par Rakesh ki toh kya baat hai! Jab gaata hai toh ambulance mangvaani padti hai!

Abhijeet: Kyun kyun?

Hussain: Arre ladkiyan jo ghayal ho jaati hain!

Abhijeet : oooooo oooh!

Hussain: And Shivam’s voice… well it reminds me of…

Abhijeet (Interrupting him): Sonu Nigamji!

You know you are addicted to Indian Idol 5 when…..

• You start singing a song randomly in the local train and wait for reactions from passengers, who obviously are staring at you bewildered.

• Anything which can be held in the hand is a mic for you

• You ask your friends to sing a song and then rate their performance.

• You wake up and find yourself drooling on the radio because you slept while listening to their performance on radio mirchi.

• You often hide the remote after turning on Indian Idol.

• You can name all the finalists of Indian Idol from season 1 to 5….in chronological order of their exits.

• Anu Malik to you is the ‘The guy who judges Indian Idol’ first and then a musician.

• You have set a timer for Indian Idol show timings in your cellphone. Including the repeats.

• You sing the song along with the contestants. This is the prime reason your neighbours hate you.

• When the waiter asks you ‘What would you like?’ you reply saying ‘I would like him/her to win Indian Idol’.

• You cry when contestants are out. You have a separate room for that.

• You nod your head apprehensively when the judges pass their comments

• You join the official Indian Idol Facebook page just so that you don’t miss anything.

Hussain: Yesterday’s episode spelled of love and romance. Humain Tumse Pyar Kitna sung by Rakesh Maini touched the hearts of millions of Indians… a lot many single women fell in love with him… but alas! It was for his inspiration, his love- Jyoti a.k.a Jeet.

Abhijeet: Hema Maliniji the ‘Dream Girl’ of Bollywood’s presence just made it better.

Hussain: She was in tears when Rakesh sang the song…she summons up her good old days filled with romance! 

Abhijeet: yaar this is like one in a million life time opportunity to propose to your beloved. And he did it so sweetly!

Hussain: Bilkul…wish I could propose Tina like this…

Abhijeet: ahem ahem (awkward emotional moment) – yeh kuch jyaada hi filmi nahi ho raha hai?

Hussain: ehehehe! Maybe…

Abhijeet: arre btw do you know how did Hema Maliniji acquire this name? – ‘Dream Girl’

Hussain: kaise?

Abhijeet: In her first movie her role was that of a dream girl- so that is how Bollywood got our very own dream girl.

Hussain: aur apne sab maharathi lag gaye unhe impress karne main!

Abhijeet: Naushad sang ‘main jat yamla pagla deewana’ and we could see Hemaji blushing!

Hussain: pyar ho to aise…haai… poorana wala pyar…saccha pyar…

Abhijeet: suna hai pyar main log zyaada khaane lagte hai par Hemaji ka kissa hi kuch aur hai...

Hussain: Kya?

Abhijeet: Dharamji got special gobi ke parathe on the sets while shooting for movies…specially for Hemaji …how sweeeeeeeet!

Hussain: arre now I am craving for paranthas….
